Antique, late 1800s hand-built agricultural barn and family home. Approximate size is 45′ x 35′ plus a lean-to shed tacked on. Roof apex reaches about 40′. Main interior space and three side rooms have lifted floors. A ladder built into the wall can reach the hayloft above one room.

The barn has been on family property since it was built. It first served as a combined barn and family home before the main house was built in the 1920s. The individual boards are tight-grain old-growth oak. They appear to be too uniform in size to be hand hewn, but the whole barn was put together by hand based on the nails.

There’s significant damage to the western wall due to a tree that fell on it, but most of the interior walls and floors are still solid. The roof is tin slats which have been patched and replaced through the decades.
